Dr. Frieden and his wife have 3 sons: twins in 6th Grade, and their younger brother in 3rd. He enjoys spending free time with family and friends, traveling, and playing tennis.
Dr. Frieden was born and raised in Houston, Texas. As an undergrad at the University of Pennsylvania, he had the opportunity to study abroad in France for 1 year. He became fluent in French while living in Paris. He is also fluent in Spanish, which he learned while treating patients in medical school and residency.
